A for those URLs, try this way down in your routes.rb:

map.connect &#039;*path&#039;, :controller =&gt; &#039;pages&#039;, :action =&gt; &#039;show&#039;

Then in the pages controller you can get the path like this:

params[:path] &amp;&amp; !params[:path].join(&#039;/&#039;).blank? ? params[:path].join(&#039;/&#039;) : &#039;index&#039;

Add a field in your pages table with a corresponding path (&#039;about&#039; etc...) and you&#039;re golden.
