…And I Come Crawling Back

Firefox is, after all, the best browser available. A week of experimenting with IE7 has shown that, surprise surprise, it’s unstable and continues to ignore W3C standards. Too many of the sites I use, from banking to Google apps, are not compatible with Opera, so the latter is out of the running. I guess I will have to deal with Firefox’s obscene memory usage, as well as try some recommendations I have received on FF optimization.

    Dear Robo,

This note is to inform you that even though you came back to me after leaving me, I no longer trust you, and I feel like you will just chase any old browser that comes along. I can’t live like that. I need someone who validates me as a browser and makes me feel good about myself. I know I had said I wanted you back, but now I feel like it’ll only end in tears. Good luck with finding a browser that you really love. I hope we’ll always be friends.

    Firefox 2.0

This message courtesy of Firefox 1.5.0.9 (and on a Mac) which is behaving. :/

    Good luck.
